Explore how the 300ft×180ft steel structure warehouse in Guyana was built?
This is a large-scale steel structure warehouse project developed by Canglong Group for Guyana, which efficiently integrates the entire process of design, manufacturing, and installation with a one-stop solution. The warehouse has a grand overall scale, measuring 300 feet in length, 180 feet in width, and 30 feet in height, with a total area equivalent to five standard football fields. It adopts a double slope and multi span structural design, demonstrating excellent spatial form and drainage performance.
The main structure of the project adopts Q355B H-beam as beams and columns, and high-strength bolts are used at key connection parts to ensure overall rigidity and seismic resistance. The lower third of the wall is a masonry wall, which enhances the stability of the enclosure and local impact resistance. The remaining parts and the roof are covered with EPS sandwich panels and metal steel plates respectively, and are matched with transparent sunlight panels to provide uniform natural lighting. There are rain shelters around the warehouse to improve the comfort of loading and unloading operations.
The internal space layout of the steel structure warehouse is scientifically practical, with two three story mezzanines, each measuring 30 feet by 20 feet, used as an office area and equipment storage area, effectively expanding vertical functions. At the same time, the project has also built a 75 foot × 60 foot double-layer cold storage, which uses 75 mm thick EPS foam sandwich panels as the insulation system to ensure the stability and reliability of the low-temperature environment in the warehouse.
The successful implementation of this project reflects Canglong Group's comprehensive technical capabilities and excellent project execution in large-scale international steel structure engineering.
