The one-stop industrial plant project tailored by Canglong Group for local manufacturing companies in Thailand, from the visualization of 3D model drawings to the capping of the main structure, from equipment adaptation planning to the implementation of supporting facilities, the full-chain service of China's intelligent manufacturing is injecting new momentum into the upgrading of Southeast Asian manufacturing.
This modern plant with a length of 184 meters, a width of 42 meters and a height of 4.2 meters has been designed with precise adaptation to customer needs as the core. The Canglong team built a 3D visualization model through BIM technology, which not only intuitively presented the overall appearance of the plant, but also the smooth double-slope roof and black rock wool wall interweaving, and made the internal details transparent. The track direction of the two 20-ton bridge cranes, the line planning of the cargo stacking area, the layout of the workshop ventilation system, and even the width of the operation channel were repeatedly confirmed with the customer through dynamic demonstration. This innovative design tool not only shortens the communication cycle of the plan, but also allows customers to enter the unfinished factory in advance and intuitively adjust each functional partition.
The steel structure skeleton carefully designed by Canglong Group supports this large space. The main beams and columns are all made of Q355B high-strength H-shaped steel, with a yield strength of 355MPa and a bending section modulus that is 25% higher than that of ordinary steel, which perfectly matches the high load requirements of 20-ton bridge cranes. In order to cope with the high humidity and salt spray erosion of Thailand's tropical monsoon climate, all steel components are sprayed with epoxy zinc-rich primer and polyurethane topcoat, with an anti-corrosion period of more than 25 years.
The invisible skeleton hot-dip galvanized C-shaped steel purlins hidden between the roof and the wall use a 0.8mm thick galvanized layer (zinc layer weight ≥180g/㎡) as a barrier. Even if it is exposed to the humid environment of the rainy season for a long time, it can still maintain structural stability and provide reliable support for the fixation of color steel plates and sun panels.
The roof of the factory building adopts a double-layer combination design, with the bottom layer being black color steel plate (yield strength 235MPa, meeting the requirements of large-span wind resistance) and the top layer covered with transparent sunlight board (light transmittance 85%), which not only ensures natural lighting in the workshop (reducing daytime lighting energy consumption by 30%), but also controls the indoor temperature in summer within 35℃ through the insulation layer of the color steel plate (core material density 48kg/m³).
The wall is made of 50mm thick PU edge-sealed rock wool sandwich panel, and the outer layer of 0.6mm thick aluminum-zinc steel plate has strong impact resistance (50J drop hammer impact without cracks). The thermal conductivity of the inner layer of 100kg/m³ high-density rock wool is only 0.039W/(m·K), and with the weather-resistant sealant at the plate seam, the heat exchange rate between the workshop and the outside world is reduced by 60%, providing a stable temperature and humidity environment for precision machining.
The detail polishing from hardware to software further reflects the depth of Canglong's one-stop service. In addition to the main structure, the project team also completed supporting projects such as door and window customization (using fireproof glass windows with a fire resistance limit of 1.0 hours), drainage system design (open ditch + concealed pipe combination, drainage efficiency increased by 50% in rainy season), workshop lighting layout (LED explosion-proof lamps are configured according to the 100lux standard), and even reserved interfaces for future expansion in advance (such as crane track extension and ventilation duct expansion space).
