4125㎡ steel workshop building begins installation in Zimbabwe
A steel workshop building project in Zimbabwe is designed as an efficient industrial plant. Upon completion, it will transform into a moderately sized, structurally stable production facility. The project's overall dimensions are 55 meters long, 75 meters wide, and 8.35 meters high, with a total floor area of 4,125 square meters. The compact and rational layout fully meets the functional requirements of industrial production.
The building design features a classic gable roof, balancing drainage efficiency with visual harmony. The clean slope effectively manages rainfall under local climate conditions. The main load-bearing structure is based on H-shaped steel. Beam-column joints are precisely welded and bolted to form a stable framework, providing the building's load-bearing foundation. C-shaped steel purlins are used in the secondary structure. Their lightweight properties reduce overall deadweight while providing reliable support for the roof and wall enclosure systems.
The enclosure system utilizes an integrated EPS sandwich panel solution. Both the roof and walls are clad in this material. The inner EPS foam core provides excellent thermal insulation, while the outer metal surface offers strong impact and weather resistance, reducing energy consumption and extending maintenance cycles.
Notably, Canglong Group provided a complete supply of steel components and related accessories for this project. From the main H- and C-beams to the sandwich panels for the roof and walls, and even down to details like doors, windows, roof tiles, and drain pipes, all were supplied by Canglong Group. This one-stop material supply not only ensures precise fit between components but also improves overall construction efficiency and quality consistency through source quality control.
Construction of the steel workshop has begun. With its efficient construction and durable steel structure, it provides a cost-effective and practical reference for local industrial facility construction in Zimbabwe. Canglong Group's comprehensive participation is a vivid example of Chinese companies' support for overseas infrastructure development.
